Initial Meeting and Fees
Our initial meeting is about first impressions, a chance to see whether we feel comfortable to talk and work together. This first consultation is a time to discuss what has brought you to counselling so that we can decide on which type and duration of counselling would be most helpful for you.
We can meet face-to-face or online. If we’re meeting via Skype or Google Meet, please try to find a place to have our meeting where you feel safe and are not going to be over-heard or over-looked. It’s quite a good idea to have a glass of water and some tissues by you and to give yourself a little time after our meeting before returning to your usual routine.
At the end of our first meeting we can decide whether to proceed with weekly, 50-minute counselling sessions together and agree on a regular day and time to meet.
I have a network of qualified practitioners to suggest should we decide not to proceed with one another.
My fees are £60 per initial consultation followed by £55 per 50-minute individual session and £80 per 60-minute couples’ session. Payments are via cash, card or online bank transfer. Full details appear on each invoice sent out.
